Uncertainty is a constant in life—job losses, health scares, global events. As believers, we’re called to trust God, but what does that truly look like? Proverbs 3:5-6 urges us to “trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
Trusting God means surrendering control. It’s acknowledging that His plans are greater than ours, as seen in Joseph’s story—from pit to palace through betrayal and imprisonment. In uncertainty, we can practice trust by immersing in Scripture, recalling past faithfulness, and seeking wise counsel from fellow Christians.
It’s also active: Step out in faith, like Peter walking on water toward Jesus. When doubts arise, pray for strengthened belief, as the father in Mark 9:24 did: “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
In these times, community is vital. Share testimonies of God’s provision to encourage others. Trust isn’t blind—it’s rooted in God’s unchanging character.
