Parenting in today’s world is challenging. Media, schools, and peers often promote values contrary to Scripture. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 instructs us to impress God’s commands on our children, talking about them at home and on the go.
Start with modeling faith: Let kids see you pray, read the Bible, and live out love. Family devotions—short, engaging Bible stories or worship songs—build foundations. Encourage critical thinking: Discuss cultural issues through a biblical lens, like identity in Christ versus societal pressures.
Protect but don’t isolate: Involve them in church youth groups for positive influences. Pray fervently for their hearts, as Proverbs 22:6 promises training leads to lasting paths.
Challenges abound, but God’s grace suffices. Remember, you’re planting seeds—He brings growth.
